Juneteenth Softball

This year we celebrated Juneteenth with several things in mind!

The Yonkers Guardians got together with The Vulcans Society to play a game not just in friendly rivalry between The Fire Dept. and Police Dept. But also to celebrate all the fathers who should be recognized.

But in truth, the best part was being able to bring people together to celebrate an extremely worthy cause by partnering with The Autism Project. With everyone’s help we were able to raise money and awareness to all the Fathers and parents in general who proudly raise their special needs children. The event itself was free, but we gathered vendors, restaurants, and raffles to Trevor Park so that all parts of Yonkers could be enriched through this event.
