Officer Sean Berry
Sergeant At Arms
Sean Berry is a life long Yonkers resident, where he experienced grade school, played sports and learned the multicultural communities in the city of Yonkers. At age 17 his father died from lung cancer and he subsequently had to leave college to help his mother and younger sister.
He then worked in the automotive industry for twelve years, where he observed that most people did not have the opportunity to learn communication, or financial- literacy skills.
In 2018 Sean joined the Yonkers Police. He currently works in the 3rd Precinct and has a Designated post in the Nodine Hill area of Yonkers.
While not working, Officer Berry is an MBK mentor, and is a Vice President of 914 United; a re-entry program for juveniles and young adults which helps them to reacclimate to society after being incarcerated.
“The main thing that pushes me, is to represent my communities in a positive light, and to be a hero to my son.”
